According to the Association records, the run down of the chronological list is that any player is the first time to make an Ace during any ODDGA event.  If the same player makes second Ace, his/her record is not shown below but is shown at another site of the Best Records.

On warm day of May 30, 2004, there were 16 players to participate in the event of the 2004 Spring Open in Champoeg, Oregon.  During the first round at Oak Grove Disc Golf Course in Champoeg State Park, Nicholas Smith made an Ace (Hole-in-One) on 7th hole.  The distance between the tee and the 7-hole was approximately 200 feet.  His disc model was 174 Wildcat Discraft, see the picture of his yellow disc.  There were witnesses including Todd Hicks, Michael Gay, David Smothermon and Matthew Colter.

Congratulation to Nicholas Smith that he became the first player to hit the Ace in the ODDGA tournament history.

Prior to beginning the first round of the tournament, his pitbull puppy, Honey, watched and prayed at Nicolas yellow disc that he could make an Ace.  Amazing, he made it!

Unfortunately, Nicolas lost his Discraft Wildcat disc during the event of the 1st Annual Oregon Deaf Disc Golf Championship on Jly 3, 2004 at Whislter’s Bend Park, east of Roseburg.  He threw his disc flying over the cliff and down into the river, Umpqua River.  He would pick it up after finishing the tournament.  After that, he returned to the river and could not find it.  However, he kept the memory that he made the ACE.

On May 21, 2005, there were 15 players to join in the event of the 2005 Spring Open in North Bend and Coos Bay, Oregon.  During the second round at Migus Disc Golf Course in Coos Bay, Alan Buchan made an Ace on 12th hole.  The distance was 157 feet.  His disc model was Innova Avair.  There were witnesses including Todd Hicks, Nicholas Smith and Michael Gay.

Congratulation to Alan Buchan that he became the second players to hit the Ace in the ODDGA history.

Finally, one player made the hole-in-one since last 2005 Spring Open.  As of July 1, 2007, Lawrence Adams becomes third player in the ODDGA historical record that he made the hole-in-one on the 4th hole during the second round of Kick 3rd Series hosted by Camp Taloali Deaf Disc Golf Chapter of the ODDGA at Herbert Hoover Park in Newburg.  The distance is approximately 150 feet.  His disc model was Beast.

The witnesses were Jerhomey Knopp and Michael Gay.
